Our eggs come from Dayspring Farms, a small Colorado farm where small flocks roam open pasture, not cages. The hens eat bugs and grass, which is why the yolks stand tall and burn a deep sunset orange.
Beyond the classic chicken egg, we keep duck eggs in stock for bakers and anyone who wants a richer, larger egg. Duck eggs make towering meringues and custards that chicken eggs simply can't match.
Quantities are limited to what the flocks produce, some days that's plenty, some days it's a scramble. Come early or call ahead to reserve a dozen.
